Ms. Dewey . . . hmm. At first I found it entertaining and amusing, but after using it I found it rather slow, the display window small and not very user friendly, and ultimately the comments a little annoying. It was fun to check out, but not a search engine I would probably use.

Cool search engine, something different. Provided list of resources. Scrolls down too fast. Her talking is distracting when one needs to concentrate. Nice and funny at first but a nuisance later. Hard to read. Looks like a modern Elvira.
    Sites are informative though.

    Hi Dr. Cyrus!
Just checked out the site and was able to “meet” Ms. Dewey. She is quite a character and you are right, it is more geared for males. Nevertheless, I requested info about Vision Impairment and she did deliver some good sites for references. Thanks for sharing the search engine with me. See you tomorrow :-)

I enjoyed reading about new search engines. The descriptions about them were short, sweet and straight to the point. I thought Ms. dewey was pretty hilarious with her personality and her acting skills. It made me want to check out all these search engines most especially factbites. It was good seeing things about UOG and reading about Dr. Underwood interacting with the teachers and holding lunches once a month to interact and talk about our education on Guam.

If I had a lot of time on my hands to do research, then I might use ms dewey’s search engine, only because it is entertaining. Her constant movement and changes in facial expressions may cause one to pause their searching just to see what she does next. Granted, the hits for searches are quite accurate, however, it seems that her “humanness” is what makes the web site, and not the site’s search capability.

Fact Bites search engine is useful because it provides detailed descriptions of what the searcher will find in the website without opening it first. This comes in handy when we are in need of quick information, and do not have much time to spare.

She was kind of irritating, I perefer a blond to talk to. the number of websites viewed are very low per page and it took long to load and keep loaded.

I viewed Ms. Dewey search engine, and I was kind of supprised with this search engine when she mentioned the word condom…anyways it seems so alive, it is like having a real person in front of you who is checking you out, specially when she knocks and says “is anybody there?” It took me a while to download this search engine, It also took me awhile to decide on a topic to search for…I checked Ms. Dewey search engine last week, and it took me a while to download the search engine, today I tried to download it and I couldn’t, this is the reason I couldn’t post a comment.
