Jacqui,

Kudos to Dr. Underwood for this initiative and to you for reporting it. Miss not being there with you all. It looks good things are on the horizon for UOG. Kind regards, Arlene Cohen

Jacqui,

I like what you’ve done here to effectively share about the gathering I regrettably missed. I commend Dr. Robert Underwood for his initiative to foster communication on campus. He is also taking an active role in alumni affairs, which is excellent, especially since I’m now serving as the President of the SOE Alumni Association - http://soealumniassociation.blogspot.com ! Way to go Dr. Underwood!

Aside from this, the effective mentoring of students, recruitment, facility maintenance, distance education, integrating technology, etc. are always great topics to explore. Although I wasn’t there to participate in the discussion, just know that I’m with you in spirit. Keep up the great work!

Warm regards,
Matilda

Comments originally sent via email concerning the Lunch with Dr. Underwood:
1) Jacqui:
Thanks for doing this. It really helps build unity on campus.
Robert

2) Thank you, Jacqui.
I loved hearing about your work with students. Thanks for the notes, and keeping me up to date with technology.
Roseann

3) Hi Jacqui:
Your summary was perfect. We all left the luncheon energized with more information. I still believe that our biggest problem on campus is lack of communication. Next big problem is lack of interaction. The "lunch with Robert" certainly dealt with both!

Thank you for your ideas. I am excited about our plans for recruitment and student club involvement.
